The following sites are useful sources of information on what to see and do both in North Berwick and in East Lothian (the county in which the sea town of North Berwick is located)
There are so very many reasons to visit North Berwick in East Lothian.
The following are just some of the things that we enjoy when we stay at The Imperial - stunning scenery, walking/rambling, horse riding, sailing, boat trips to the Bass Rock, visits to Dirleton and Tantallon Castles, photography, locally grown and sourced food for lunches and dinners out, fishing, shopping in the bustling High Street in North Berwick. We also enjoy visiting the award-winning Scottish Seabird Centre, picnics on the beaches (or fish and chips), golf and putting, tennis, swimming either in North Berwick’s pool or at the leisure pool a few miles away in Dunbar (our daughter loves the flumes and waves in the pool). We often visit East Links farm for the day (animals, giant playground, fortress, horses, narrow gauge railway), local swing parks, finding an isolated cove and taking a good book and picnic.
There are so many wonderful things to do and there isn’t space to put them down so here are a few links to inspire you to plan your very own memorable trip.
